Account & Data Deletion — Healcon (For Doctors)

Healcon — For Doctors is a practice-management and electronic medical records (EMR) app for clinicians and clinic staff. This page explains how to request deletion of your Healcon account and the data associated with it.

  1. How to request deletion

    To request deletion of your account and data, email privacy@healcon.com from the email address registered to your Healcon account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Please include:

    • Your registered name and email / phone
    • Your clinic name

    We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request.

  2. What is deleted

    Once your request is verified, we delete your Healcon account and the personal data associated with it, including:

    • Your account profile (name, email, phone)
    • Login credentials and app session data
    • Account preferences and settings
  3. What is retained, and why

    As a healthcare and billing platform, some data must be kept to meet legal, regulatory, tax, and medical record-keeping obligations. The following may be retained for the period required by applicable law, then deleted or anonymized:

    • Patient medical records (clinical notes, prescriptions, vitals, lab results, treatment history)
    • Invoices, payments, and financial / tax records
    • Records needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our terms

    Patient records are maintained on behalf of the clinic (the data controller); deletion of individual patient records follows the clinic's obligations and applicable medical record-retention laws.

  4. Timeline

    We acknowledge requests within 5 business days and delete eligible data within 30 days, except data we are legally required to retain.
